HOW IT ALL BEGAN
SKNDSKĪN was born out of my desire to bridge the beauty rituals of my two rich cultural heritages. Growing up, my grandmothers on both sides of the world shared a profound love for teas and herbal remedies. From a young age, I watched them carefully select, dry, and brew herbs—not only to sip but also to nurture their skin and well-being.
My first grandmother often used hibiscus tea and coffee for my skin, teaching me how these natural ingredients could brighten and rejuvenate. On the other side, my other grandmother relied on sea buckthorn oil, not only applying it to my skin and hair but also drinking it as part of her beauty rituals. These moments were more than traditions, they were bonding experiences that instilled in me a deep respect for the power of nature.
